#KNOWJUSTICE is here to remind you that although we are all in this together, not all of us are in the same boat. The theme of change is broad, and youth encouraged each other to approach their art-making from a place of personal authenticity. Artist statements in our gallery have been crafted mindfully by each youth artist to reflect the changes that affect their lives. On this journey, you will also see unfinished and process work in the virtual exhibit.
ArtForce Iowa will always seek to elevate and center the voices of youth who have been marginalized and minoritized by systems of oppression. In 2021, we hope that you will take the time to see what change means to these important young artists.
