ArtForce Iowa’s Murals
This was an interactive mural that consisted over 1400 tiles. Each tile being interpreted and transferred by the community.
“Together We Flourish” created by our amazing Emma Parker! In collaboration with the Latinos in Action Classes at East High and Roosevelt High School, the mural shows flowers representing the heritage and ethnicity at the aforementioned schools, along with the youth-centered values reflecting hope, unity, inclusivity, and place. The Murals will be permanently installed at East High School and Roosevelt High School.
Youth artists in ELL classes at Hiatt Middle School working on the mural. The youth artists have worked hard and creatively with local muralists on creating a piece that not only represents them, but the different communities within the school.
Hoover High School
